Manor Park Golf Club Inc, Lower Hutt, New Zealand
Manor Park Golf Club was established in 1913 and has a demanding 18-hole, par 71(Men) 74 (Women), tree-lined course set in native bush alongside the banks of the beautiful Hutt River in Lower Hutt (Wellington). It is surrounded by hills, with the often snow-clad Tararua mountain range as a backdrop. Another feature is a stream running alongside and through the western side of most of the course, that comes into play all too often. The Club is also well known for its extensive practise facilities including a par 3 practise hole, fairway practise area and separate two-tiered chipping, putting and bunker practice green as well as modern driving nets.

Seletar
Country Club, Singapore
"Seletar Country Club's 18-hole gem
is a result of great vision of its founding members and their
emphasis in making the most of the natural terrain with a
rustic country theme. Combine that with a backdrop of the
Lower Seletar Reservoir and the talents of course architect,
Chris Pitman, the sum total is a challenging and wonderful
playing experience. Members and guests of the Club feel that
the immaculately groomed course is worth every cent spent
over a major renovation in 2000 and the refinement project
just completed in early 2004."

Akarana
Golf Club, Auckland, New Zealand
Akarana, the closest golf course to the center
of New Zealand's largest city is also one of the most relaxing
golf courses in the country. Its greens are as green as its

nation.

Situated 20 minutes north of Auckland, the
Peninsula Golf Club was formed in 1957.
"In 1999 The Board of Management...agreed that only a
full course re-construction, which finally addressed drainage...was
practicable. Chris Pitman, a golf course architect with an
international reputation, was commissioned to prepare a comprehensive
Course Master Plan. The Pitman Plan is now the blueprint for
a major course re-development that the Club plans to complete
over the next nine years." All tees, fairways, bunkers
and greens are undergoing complete rebuilding on this hilly
and extremely wet site. Lakes and rocky waterways are providing
a new drainage for the valley layout.

This new and authentic links course situated
next to the Mediterranean Sea, incorporates natural dune country
and reclaimed salt-marshes. Also included is a 9-hole golf
school and was completed in 1992.
“Regarded as the finest in Tunisia - The Palm Links
in Monastir, was the finest-conditioned course I have seen
this year and comparable in its degree of challenge. At its
opening back in 1994 I was impressed by the design and thought
that with maturity and nurturing it could become the premier
attraction in Tunisian golf. So it has proved.” Barry
